1:1 Personal Training

1:1 personal training is quality time spent focused on your individual targets and aspirations. These can be wide ranging and may include;

  • Weight management and weight loss.
  • Injury prevention and rehabilitation.
  • Sport specific training and cross training.

No matter the objective, I can devise and lead you through programmes to help you achieve your goals.

The initial session will last 1.5 hours and include a consultation to establish goals and an initial training session. Personal training sessions thereafter last 1 hour.

The weekly cost is £35.00 (one training session) or £60.00 (two training sessions).  The cost includes analysis of sessions completed, the training session(s), the creation of targeted programmes and nutritional advice and support.

Sessions can also be completed fortnightly at the same cost.

Venues can vary according to your individual needs and objectives. This can be at your house, outside, at my own training facility or at PureGym Waterfront.

1:2 Personal Training

If you have a friend, family member or colleague who has similar aspirations or targets, personal training on a 1:2 basis may be the way to go.

As with 1:1 personal training, each of you will receive an analysis of sessions completed, the training session(s), the creation of targeted programmes and nutritional advice and support.

The weekly cost is £50 (£25 per person) to include one training session or £90 to include two training sessions.

Again, venues can vary between your house, an outside gym, my training facility or at PureGym Waterfront.

Kick Start Program

The kick start program is perfect for those who want to lose weight for an upcoming holiday or
event, have a sporting challenge coming up or want to boost their fitness in a short space of time.

The package lasts a month and includes;

  • Consultation and fitness testing prior to commencement of the first training session.
  • Ten personal training sessions. Each session lasts one hour.
  • Nutritional advice and support throughout the month.
  • Fitness testing at the end of the month.

The aims of the package vary according to the goals of the individual but may include;

  • Weight loss.
  • Muscle toning and strengthening.
  • Injury prevention and core stability work.
  • Sport specific training.

The cost for the package is £275.00.

Small Group Training

Many people enjoy training with a group of friends or may have a team event coming up such as Tough Mudder. Small group training provides a great opportunity to work with a group towards shared goals. An example session could be ‘Bootcamp on the Beach’. This session will take the form of circuits with the aims of high calorie burn and muscle toning.

The cost per session is £42. This is divided amongst the group with maximum numbers being 6.

Ski Fitness

As well as being a fully qualified personal trainer, Euan is a qualified ski instructor. For those interested in getting the most out of their upcoming ski holiday, making gains in ski fitness before a trip will increase performance and prevent injury. These sessions can be run for both individuals and groups, with all exercises tailored to the sport of skiing.

The costs per session follow the same structure as those outlined above.

Personal Training for Climbers, Hill Walkers and Mountaineers

Euan holds the highest worldwide qualification in rock and ice climbing, mountaineering, off piste skiing and ski touring. If you aim to improve performance or prevent injury in any of these sports, please get in contact to discuss options and packages. These can vary from gym-based sessions or combined gym/climbing wall sessions to complete packages. For example, you could choose to work towards climbing Ben Nevis or even climb/ski major alpine peaks from the European Alps all the way to Greenland and the Arctic Circle.

Core for Climbers

A strong core improves climbing performance and helps prevent injuries. Please get in contact if you are interested in developing this important aspect of gaining strength.
